From €15/dayEconomy Cars: Perfect for City Driving
Our economy range is the most popular choice among tourists visiting Tunisia. These small cars are built for the realities of Tunisian driving — narrow streets, tight parking spaces and fuel efficiency that stretches your budget further:
Hyundai Grand i10
Our best-selling rental car. The 2025 Hyundai Grand i10 combines a peppy 1.2L engine with excellent fuel economy (5.5 L/100km). The 252-litre boot fits two medium suitcases comfortably. Air-conditioned, Bluetooth-equipped, and easy to manoeuvre in every situation from airport highways to the narrow lanes of Sidi Bou Said.
Toyota Agya
A reliable Toyota at a budget-friendly price. The Agya delivers similar fuel economy to the i10 with the added peace of mind of Toyota's legendary reliability. Available in both manual and automatic (BVA) versions — making it one of the most affordable automatic options in our fleet.
Compact Sedans: Space & Comfort for Families
When you need more legroom in the back seat and a boot that swallows your family's luggage, our compact sedan range delivers:
Fiat Tipo
A spacious Italian sedan with a generous 520-litre boot — enough for 3 large suitcases. The 1.4L engine handles motorway driving with ease, and the interior is comfortable for four adults on longer journeys. A popular choice for week-long family holidays.
Suzuki Ciaz
The Ciaz offers a smooth ride, generous rear legroom and excellent fuel economy for a sedan. Available in both manual and automatic (BVA) transmission. The automatic Ciaz is our most-requested automatic sedan — book early to secure one.
Dacia Logan
The no-nonsense workhorse. The Logan offers the largest boot in its class at a competitive price. Ideal for travellers who prioritise practicality and value. Robust, reliable and well-suited to Tunisia's diverse road conditions.
SUVs & Crossovers: Built for Adventure
Southern Tunisia — with its mountain passes, desert landscapes and gravel roads leading to Star Wars film sets — calls for something with a bit more presence. Our SUV range delivers:
MG ZS
Our flagship SUV. The MG ZS combines a modern, tech-forward interior with proper ground clearance and a spacious boot. Ideal for the Tunis–Tozeur route, trips to Matmata and Tataouine, or simply travelling with lots of luggage. Seats 5 comfortably with room for 3–4 large suitcases.
Automatic Cars: Stress-Free Driving
Many international visitors — particularly those from North America, the UK and Gulf countries — prefer automatic transmission. Our automatic range is growing:
-
Toyota Agya BVA: Budget-friendly automatic city car. Same reliability as the manual version with the convenience of automatic shifting. From €22/day.
-
Suzuki Ciaz BVA: Automatic sedan with generous space. Perfect for families who want comfort and ease. From €30/day.
-
Book early: Automatic cars are limited in supply across Tunisia. In peak season (July–August), they can sell out 3–4 weeks before the travel date. Reserve yours as early as possible.
Minivans & 7-Seaters: Travel Together
Travelling as a group of 5 or more? A minivan eliminates the need for a second car and keeps everyone together:
Suzuki Ertiga
The Ertiga is a versatile 7-seater MPV that bridges the gap between a sedan and a full-size van. Three rows of seats accommodate up to 7 passengers, and with the third row folded flat, you get a massive boot for luggage. Fuel-efficient for its size and easy to drive. The best choice for families with children or groups of friends on a budget.

How to Choose the Right Car for Your Trip
Not sure which category fits your needs? Use this quick guide based on your travel style:
-
City break (Tunis, Hammamet, Sousse): Economy car. Easy to park, cheap to fuel, and you will rarely drive more than 50 km in a day. The Hyundai i10 or Toyota Agya is perfect.
-
Coastal road trip (Tunis to Djerba): Compact sedan. You will cover 500+ km with highway driving. The Fiat Tipo or Suzuki Ciaz offers comfort and boot space for the journey.
-
Family holiday (2 adults + 2–3 children): Sedan or minivan depending on luggage. The Suzuki Ertiga is ideal if you have child seats plus full suitcases.
-
Saharan adventure (Tozeur, Douz, Matmata): SUV. The extra ground clearance and boot space make the MG ZS ideal for southern routes with their occasional rough patches.
-
Long-term stay (15+ days): Any category. Prices drop 30–40% for longer rentals. Many expats and digital nomads choose an economy car for maximum savings.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Fleet
How new are the cars in your fleet?
Our fleet consists of 2023–2025 model-year vehicles. Every car is regularly serviced according to manufacturer schedules and thoroughly cleaned and inspected between each rental. We continuously retire older models and add the latest versions to ensure reliability and comfort.
Are automatic cars available in Tunisia?
Yes. We offer automatic transmission vehicles including the Toyota Agya BVA and Suzuki Ciaz BVA. Automatic cars are very popular with international visitors, so we recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance, especially during peak season (June–September). Availability is more limited than manual cars.
Can I request a child seat or booster seat?
Absolutely. We provide baby seats (0–12 months), child seats (1–4 years) and booster seats (4–12 years) free of charge upon request at booking. Tunisian law requires children under 10 to sit in the back seat. Specify the number and ages of children when booking and we will have the seats installed and ready.
How much luggage fits in each car type?
Economy cars (Hyundai i10, Toyota Agya) fit 1–2 medium suitcases. Compact sedans (Fiat Tipo, Suzuki Ciaz) fit 2–3 large suitcases comfortably. SUVs (MG ZS) handle 3–4 large cases plus hand luggage. Minivans fit 5+ suitcases. We recommend the Suzuki Ertiga for families needing both passenger space and luggage room.
Can I take an SUV into the Sahara desert?
Our SUVs and crossovers are suitable for paved roads and well-maintained desert tracks to popular destinations like Tozeur, Douz and Matmata. For deep sand dunes or off-road desert tracks (e.g., the Ong Jemal route), we recommend booking a guided 4x4 excursion locally. Our standard rental insurance does not cover off-road driving on unpaved tracks.
Are diesel or petrol cars available?
The majority of our fleet runs on petrol (Sans Plomb 95), which is widely available at all fuel stations across Tunisia. Diesel vehicles are available in selected larger models. Petrol costs approximately €0.75/litre and diesel around €0.55/litre (2026 prices). Both fuel types offer excellent value compared to European prices.
Is there a mileage limit on rentals?
No. All 3A Rent Car rentals include unlimited mileage at no extra cost. Whether you drive 50 km around Hammamet or 2,000 km across the entire country, the daily rate stays the same. This makes us ideal for road trips and long-distance itineraries.
