Depending on the crowd, light and your interests, you or your guide will select 2 to 3 sites among the most significant:
- Antonine Baths: majestic remains of the largest Roman baths in Africa, with a panoramic view of the sea — ideal in the morning for the softness of the light.
- Tophet of Salammbô: sacred place of the Carthaginians, where stelae dedicated to the gods Baal Hammon and Tanit were discovered — a moving dive into Punic spirituality.
- Roman Theatre (partially restored) or Villa of the Aviary: for lovers of architecture and fine mosaics.
- National Museum of Carthage: a clear and visual synthesis of 3,000 years of history.
Midday: Medina of Tunis
Departure for the Medina of Tunis, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a walk through the bustling alleys. You will discover the Zitouna Mosque (exterior view), traditional architecture of ancient palaces and the unique atmosphere of the souks (perfumes, chechias, crafts).
Lunch Break
Lunch stop at La Goulette, famous for its fish specialties and multicultural atmosphere (Extra cost for meal).
Afternoon: Sidi Bou Said
Departure for the picturesque village with white houses and blue shutters overlooking the Mediterranean.
- Walk through the flowered alleys.
- Discovery of the famous Café des Délices and the Ennejma Ezzahra Palace (optional).
- Free time to stroll, enjoy mint tea and buy artisanal souvenirs.
Return
Return to your hotel in Tunis or Hammamet in the late afternoon.
