Pickup at your hotel in Tunis and departure towards Dougga, located approximately 150 km southwest of Tunis.

Arrival at Dougga

Arrival at the archaeological site of Dougga, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997.

• Guided tour of the site with a certified archaeological guide (optional).
• Discovery of the perfectly preserved Roman Theater.
• Exploration of the Capitol, temple dedicated to the three main Roman deities.
• Visit to the Basilica and the Forum.
• Contemplation of the Roman baths and the House of the Trifolium.

Lunch Break

Lunch break at a typical local restaurant near the site (meal not included).

Continuation of the visit

After lunch, continuation of the site visit with:

• Exploration of the Severan mausoleum, an impressive funerary monument.
• Visit to the Temple of Saturn, the city's main sanctuary.
• Discovery of the lyceum and the odeon (small theater).
• Observation of the cisterns and the remains of the aqueduct.

Return to Tunis

Departure from Dougga and return to Tunis at the end of the day.
