Ancient quarries dug by the Phoenicians and the Romans 2,500 years ago. Vast chambers carved into the cliff, opening onto the sea. The stone was used to build Carthage. Natural light filtering through the openings creates a cathedral-like atmosphere.

A walk along the wild coast near the caves. Spectacular rock formations rise out of the turquoise water — natural arches, rocky pinnacles, hidden coves. Swim in crystal-clear water between the rocks. The coast here is completely unspoiled — no hotels, no concrete, just nature.

What does the 150 TND/person price include?

Access to the caves, a full fresh fish lunch and access to the beaches. Transport (300 TND) is extra, shared between the passengers.

Do I need to know how to swim?

Not required. The coves have shallow areas. But swimming is one of the highlights — a swimsuit is recommended.

Is the excursion suitable for children?

Yes, from ages 5-6. Children are fascinated by the caves and the coves are safe for family swimming.

What is the best season?

From April to October. The water is pleasant from June to September. In spring the cliffs are in bloom.

Do I need a guide?

No, this excursion is designed to be self-guided. The driver drops you off and picks you up. The caves and beaches can be visited freely.
