Tamerza Waterfall

The largest mountain oasis in Tunisia. Its waterfall plunges into a natural pool surrounded by red rocks. The ancient ruined village overlooks the scene — a cinematic setting.

Is the hiking level difficult?

No, the hikes are short (20-40 min each) and accessible to everyone. Closed shoes are recommended for the rocky paths.

Can you swim in the waterfalls?

At Tamerza, swimming in the natural pool is possible depending on the season and water level. Bring a swimsuit just in case.

Is lunch included?

Optional (+50 TND/person): lunch in a local restaurant with mountain views. Authentic Tunisian cuisine.

What is the best season?

Spring (March-May) and autumn (Oct-Nov) offer ideal temperatures. In summer it gets very hot — an early departure is recommended.
