## Must-see desert attractions

### Chott el Jerid
Largest salt lake in the Sahara (5,000 km²). Drive across it on the
Tozeur-Douz road. In winter, water pools create stunning mirages. In
summer, the crystallized salt surface is blinding white.

### Ong Jmal & Mos Espa (Star Wars)
35 km from Tozeur in the dunes. Mos Espa set from Star Wars Episode I
